The Chairs of Statics and Dynamics of Planar Structures of the University of Duisburg-Essen, Structural Analysis and Structural Dynamics of the RWTH Aachen, and Building Mechanics, Statics and Dynamics of the TU Dortmund met in Winterberg in the Sauerland region to exchange ideas on current topics in science and teaching. In addition to technical presentations, workshops were held on the topics of "E-learning and visual aids in teaching", "Commercial FEM programs - advantages and disadvantages, comparison, exchange of experience" and "Use of programming languages in research and teaching". Furthermore, the participants were able to get to know each other better through the team-building measure of "self-catering", where international dishes from Italy, Israel and Turkey were served. Furthermore, the possibility of electronic examinations in the subjects of construction mechanics, statics and dynamics was discussed.
