Holistic approach for statically integrated design of residential modules made of logs
In her master thesis Lydia Puttkamer deals with an analytical approach for the calculation of the elastic bedding of opening lintels in walls made of logs.
For this purpose, the differential equation of an elastically bedded beam is derived, the analytical calculation is adapted to a numerical model by means of a model reduction and compared with other modeling possibilities.
The static checks of the opening lintels are programmed and carried out with the internal forces and deformations determined using the elastically bedded beam.
