Summer School 2025

The 2025 Summer School of the Master program Mechanics of Sustainable Materials and Structures (MS^2) entitled “Multi-Scale Approaches for Architectured and Microstructured Materials and Metamaterials” took place from October 13 to 18 at the École Centrale de Nantes in France. The event brought together students, early career researchers and 13 experts from across Europe for a week of scientific exchange. Participants explored advanced topics in multiscale modeling, homogenization techniques, and the design of architectured materials and metamaterials.

A highlight of the week was the opportunity for MS² students to select their master’s thesis topic from more than 25 proposals offered by the partner universities and associated collaborators.
