Registration for participation in the 20th German Concrete Canoe Regatta

In the winter semester 2025/2026, students of architecture and civil engineering will once again have the opportunity to design and build a concrete canoe and then take part in the 20th German Concrete Canoe Regatta in Brandenburg an der Havel in June 2026. This will take place as part of the WPF "Building with Textile Concrete" of the Chair of Materials in Civil Engineering in cooperation with the Chair of Statics and Dynamics.

Creativity, commitment and teamwork are required here, as the concrete canoes should not only be functional and robust, but also lightweight and sustainable. The technical and sporting challenges are mastered through teamwork and having fun is the top priority. At the end, the teams compete in a regatta with their concrete canoes and present their results.

The deadline for registration for the regatta is 31.12.2025.
