Presentation seminar projects Engineering with Ansys
Wednesday, 6. March 2024 at 2 pm in Faculty room EG 111 GBII (ground floor), the Master's students of Engineering with Ansys will give their presentations on their seminar project. The topic this semester is the structural analysis of the connection point of a geodesic dome. Pretensioned bolts connect multiple wooden rods, designed to withstand traction. One of the assignments was to calculate the maximum pretension in the bolts and to determine the maximum traction on pair of opposing rods.
